Children of primary school age in Duns Tew were invited to an outdoor reading of the nativity story, adapted to 2020 by Diane Thornton. The weather was ghastly, but we decided to go ahead for lack of any alternative date.
Liz, Dan and James from Daisy Hill were unable to attend but sent us this lovely message:
"Thank you so much for James’ gift from the Church. We missed the Nativity yesterday in Duns Tew but this evening we sat down together and read the Nativity rhyme and then James used the stickers to make his own version of the story. We really enjoyed spending time together this evening talking about the Nativity and how Jesus brought light to the world. Wishing all a very Happy Christmas"
