If you want a baptism, a wedding, a funeral, or pastoral care, please contact us.
In baptism, we thank God for his gift of life, and publicly acknowledge his love.
Everyone is welcome to have their children christened in their parish church. Your child is precious to you and precious to God.
As parents, you make a decision to start your child on a journey of faith, in which you will be supported by the church and your child's godparents.
We also welcome adults who want to be baptised.
More than a quarter of marriages in England between a man and a woman take place in the traditional setting of a Church of England church.
You are welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised, and whether or not you go to church.
Please come and talk to us well in advance of your planned date.
More information on weddings, baptisms and funerals is available on the Life Events page of www.churchofengland.org
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
