Good Friday's family service

A large number of children explored the Good Friday story at Sandford St Martin church this year.

Stations around the church represented the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, Pilate's palace, the Cross and the Tomb. The story was retold brilliantly - the adults learned plenty as well as the children!

Christ's death was represented by a candle being blown out by a child, and then the candle was placed in the tomb. It was very moving indeed.
