Easter was mainly online again this year, with numbers severely limited for the "live" services (Good Friday at the Wortons and Easter Day at Steeple Barton).
That didn't stop Steeple Barton church from being beautifully decorated and joyously welcoming for those few who were able to go.
The font contained hostas (by the dozen!) surrounding a startlingly gorgeous white flowering plant, all supplied by the gardens of Barton Abbey, and the door was arrayed with palm crosses.
By the way if anyone knows what the white plant is, please tell us, because most of us would like to go and buy one! Guesses so far include a rhododendron, a hydrangea, and a magnolia!
