So much for all the planned street parties and special church services - but in the blitz spirit of lockdown, Middle Barton made it special anyway!
Peter Meadowcroft provided appropriate music via his float (see video) and numerous talented villagers made scarecrows - including one of 100-year-old "Captain Tom", which delighted many of us in view of his amazing NHS Fundraising stint.
