Coffee for Polly

On Saturday 1st September in Duns Tew Village Hall, there will be a Coffee Morning to raise vital funds for the work of Polly. Polly has worked with the homeless and vulnerable of Banbury for the last 30 years.

She meets her "lost souls" every day in St Mary's churchyard to give them food, drink and friendship. At any one time, there are as many as 18 people relying on Polly's support. Many of these men and women have drug or drink-related problems, some have just come out of prison or hospital and have nowhere to turn to.

It takes a lot of courage for people to ask for help, which Polly gives with love and without making judgements.

In order to continue this selfless work, Polly in turn needs our support to provide food and clothing for these people. Please come along to the coffee morning on 1st September in Duns Tew Village Hall to raise some much-needed funds so that Polly can buy food for the homeless in Banbury.

Come and meet friends, new & old. Coffee/tea, cakes, biscuits, plus sale of produce and jams etc.
