"Fumb & Forefinger" - our recorder group

We run recorder-playing sessions on the 2nd and 4th Sunday in each month - do come and join us!

Our informal sessions were originally designed to de-rust those who learnt at school and hadn't touched one since!  We now have a wide range of  players, and encourage each other to learn more than one type of recorder to enjoy their different tones.

Sessions are free, but we do ask for donations to support the homeless in Banbury via Polly.

Make Music With Us!

We are keen to encourage people to participate in making music, as well as listening to others at our concerts.

We teach stringed instruments, we run a small recorder group, we play chamber music, and we sing (as much as possible!).

Our annual Twelfth Night Carols gives us an opportunity to sing less well known carols after the rush of Christmas is over.
